For the Pac, several juicy match-ups that should actually get some eyeballs nationally. That definitely hasn't happened every year. The system works?!?

Im more pissed about a Washington in the Fiesta. Not earned on the field. But they travel better. Monet baby.

I can only imagine what the scrambling is like now. the Pac 12 has four more playoff eligible teams from the original nine: Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington, Washington State

I think they were ranked #11, and entitled therefore to a new year's day game.

I understand that The rankings carry more weight then what happens in the conference. I just think its a joke. I cant think of another sport that decides these things with a bunch of people sitting around casting ballots.
Frankly Washington doesnt deserve to be ranked higher Yeah they have a better record. They should. They played a creampuff schedule.

I am sorry, but I can't agree here. Washington is arguably the second-best team in the PAC-12. They lost 2 games. Granted, their out-of-conference schedule was weak. But they won. While I think Stanford is the second-best team in the PAC-12, it isn't insane not to agree with me ( :) in this case at least). Money is probably a factor, yes, but in this case it is not a totally unreasonable choice. They are ranked above us in the polls, even though we beat them.

Liberty bowl is SEC vs. Big 12. Why are they waiting on announcing? They're the last of the big traditional bowls to announce.

I like playing TCU. Maybe Shawvitagren will learn something about offense and vice versa!

PS-I'd love to see San Antonio, if I weren't planning to be 5,000+ miles away apres-Xmas pre-Hogmanay......
