Any thoughts on where we go
1. If we beat UCLA
2. If we don't (do we even make a bowl?)
Couldn't find anything online that had either us or UCLA in a bowl.

There is unlikely to be anything official online at this point since selection Sunday is always after the conference championships. Some bowl projections will probably be out later today. I haven't seen anything yet. Considering the bowls with Pac-12 tie-ins, one could speculate:
Fiesta Bowl -- USC (because Rose is taken for the CFP play-off)
Alamo -- Washington or Oregon (runner-up of the Pac-12, assuming USC wins the CCG).
Sun -- Colorado
Guaranteed Rate Bowl (former Cactus Bowl) -- Washington or Oregon
The Redbox bowl and the Las Vegas Bowl will not be taking place, so both UCLA and Stanford would have to receive at-large bids. Utah is also technically bowl eligible (2-2), but there may not be enough bowl games to go around this year.

This bowl prediction pundit (Jerry Palm) doesn't even have Stanford or UCLA going to a bowl game, while he includes a 2-3 Wisconsin in one of the Pac-12 tie-in bowls (Guaranteed Rate). https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/bowls/predictions/

how will the bowl finances work out this year.
Previously most bowl games were breakeven at best for participants, if the teams still need to buy a large number of tickets and can't sell them due to no (or very few) fans in the stands will some decide to not go bowling? Previously the extra practice was the big selling point for bowl games, will teams think two weeks of COVID-19 limited practice be worth it? Or will even COVID-19 practices be seen as more valuable given the shortened season?

I just read that the Sun Bowl is also canceled, which leaves only three Pac-12 tie-in bowls scheduled: One NY6 (Fiesta, to replace the Rose Bowl), the Alamo and the Guaranteed Rate (Cactus) Bowl.
If fans are not allowed in the stadium, then there is no way the bowl organizations can force participating teams to buy up tickets. All the money has to come from TV advertising. The first bowl game (the Frisco Bowl) is already scheduled for next Saturday. SMU is one of the teams.

Presumably the corporate sponsors have quietly restructured their payments since the sponsors will not be able to give ads, swag and other promotional items to the fans with means that often attend.
For some of the bowl organizers it gets worse. Most bowls have a series of local commercial business that are represented on their committees. Hotels, restaurants, theme parks, and other similar groups normally profit from the fans that spend a number of days in town. Those groups will not get a lot from their bowl tie-ins this year, if fans are not in the stands.
Then normally those bowl organizers justify their drive for promotions and profits for their sponsors by also getting the players into children's hospitals or similar charitable activities. Some players get a lot out of that, so I don't want to imply that is not important. However, those charitable events are unlikely to take place.
Put it all together and it is rather easy to see why a number of bowls have just opted out, if they are not allowed to have fans in the stands.
In the South a lot of games have been played with a crowd at ~25% of capacity. With the right 25% (affluent, hotel staying, restaurant eating) my guess is a number of bowls would be happy. They could easily explain that any empty seats are because of health restrictions.
A few schools have already decided it will be better to skip the bowls and let the players finally spend time with friends and family. I suspect we will see more schools that will turn down trips to the less prestigious bowls.

Cactus Bowl is now Big 10 vs Big 12.
The PAC-12 options this year are the Big 6, Alamo, Armed Forces, and Independence.
The projections I have seen show USC, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado as the PAC-12 bowl teams.

These two ESPN pundits (Schlabach and Bonagura) don't see Stanford anywhere in the postseason.

Hmmmm, the "Cactus Bowl" Wikipedia page still shows Big12/Pac12. Maybe that 10-7 OT loss by the Bears to the Horned Frogs in 2018 eventually made the organization sour on the Pac-12. It's now called the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. https://www.rate.com/news/gr-introduces-guaranteed-rate-bowl

I've always joked to myself that Shreveport is such a random location for a bowl and a place I would probably never visit on my own, so in the off-chance we ever ended up in the Independence Bowl I would go just for the hell of it. So it would be fitting were it to happen in the year where I couldn't.

3 ACC teams (Pitt, BC, and UVA) have all opted out of
participating in a bowl. As such, there might be an
at-large spot for a 4-2 Stanford (with a win over UCLA). 3-3 probably means no spot
this year.

Looks like UCLA is our final game and we are declining bowl invitations.

That means that the final game of the season will be in the Rose Bowl! It just won't be the Rose Bowl.

Definitely. I can't imagine what the logistics have been like for the entire program to be on the road for what will be three weeks. Carrying that forward to another part of the country for what would be another few weeks would seem to be completely unrealistic.

For the record I laughed out loud while reading the article. I guess Kelly is lobbying for UND to go to the Sugar Bowl, but really he's just being a prick, IMO. And I am not a UND hater; in fact when I was growing up they were my second-favorite team. Back in the day, my dad and I used to leave Mass after communion so we could get home in time for the Notre Dame football highlights show.
In any case, Kelly might not have to worry about families attending CFP games after Saturday's rematch versus Clemson.
