The Best Man (Fonda)
Advise and Consent (written by a Stanford man)
The Candidate
Primary Colors (Phogge second unit operator)
Lincoln
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
All the Kings Men (Broderick Crawford)
The Ides of March
I'm trying to watch them all.
What others?

Hey Pal... get back in the pool and in the best T Dome tradition, ST*U.
Spoke with The Yeti last night. He played for Dante on national teams.

I wondered if he had played with Dante. Knew he played a lot for JV.

Two shots of my father in the original Manchurian. On the camera platform, two closeups.

Not a movie and colored by who the actor is but the first few seasons of house of cards were excellent.

Try the original (UK version). Better than the Netflix version? You might very well think that; but I couldn't possibly comment.

Has anyone mentioned
Citizen Kane? I suppose some might argue that it is more about journalism than politics, but the line is hard to draw.
I'd also suggest Spike Lee's
Malcolm X, from 1992.
And if you include documentaries, then by all means
The Fog of War, Robert McNamara's political reminiscences from 2003. Looking back at the Cuban missile crisis and Vietnam is probably more relevant now even than it was in 2003.

So many great movies. Spending alot of time in LA, Chinatown is in my top 3. I've seen it too many times, probably.
