Nothing I’ve seen this year seems to suggest this is a tourney win. This team just doesn’t gel together well. Lack of a true guard play is hurting them set anything up on offense.

If the season continues and plays out as expected; Haas needs to be gone. 0-7 or 0-8 in NCAA tourney appearances is not acceptable. Will Muir really make the decision to go find a new football and basketball coach in the same year. He should but it wouldn’t surprise me if Haase gets another year after this.

Was this click-baity? That hadn't been my intent. I was making a secondary point that we were five minutes into the game and nobody had even bothered to set up a game thread. It was also a play on cardcrimson's post titled "Isn't there a soccer game on now?"
More than happy to change it to "MBB vs. UCLA game thread" if you like.

I am also not really that excited about Muir finding the next football coach, and definitely don't want him trying to find the next basketball coach at the same time.
Better to fire Muir first. Perhaps someone will offer him a role with LA 2028 or United 2026 or as a commissioner in another conference.

They just introduced our 5* recruit Kanaan Carlyle in the stands and showed him on the big screen. You could see the thought bubble: "Oh man, how do I get out of my LOI?"

We cut the lead to 12 before letting them build it back up to 21.

At least we have more field goals (14) than turnovers (11). Still, arguably our best player (Harrison Ingram) has 2 points and 2 turnovers. On WBB threads people rag on Jones, but Ingram has a next level bad line:
1/5 (20%) from he field; 0/4 (0.0%) from 3; 0 free throws, 1 rebound, 2 turnovers and 2 points.
