RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - Goose - 10-28-2023

The crowd tonight is smaller than for UCLA. No alumni to fill the seats today.

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - newguy - 10-28-2023

and our first flag of the day.

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - martyup - 10-28-2023

I thought Daniels made the line to gain on 2nd down. Poor spot.

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - newguy - 10-28-2023

grounding…..that's rare.

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - martyup - 10-28-2023

Daniels seems to be making good decisions so far.  Smith continues to be ineffective.

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - newguy - 10-28-2023

and a shanked punt.

Weselman.
let's let Aidan get the next few punts.

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - marchballer - 10-28-2023

Not like we had a chance but all these penalties are killing us.

Intentional Grounding killed our first drive.

Face Mask + Offsides hurt the defense first drive.

Lots of things to like but ouch.

and a shanked punt.

Which punter was that?

Weselman I think
14 yards

Looking bad already
The foolish and costly and drive killing penalties from last game continue unabated
When supposedly blocking, so many of our guys run right past the most dangerous and imminent Huskie to try and run downfield further to do who knows what, only for that Huskie to continue straight on to crush our ball carrier

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - newguy - 10-28-2023

nice punt by Aidan Flintoft.

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - martyup - 10-28-2023

Why are we still letting Wesselman punt?

---

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - Mick - 10-28-2023

The missed blocks are extraordinary. Missed block on the kickoff was amazing to me.

RE: FB -- UW Game Thread - SkiBum80 - 10-28-2023

Watching this reminds me that you can have 10 of 11 guys playing well but one guy can either miss his assignment badly or make dumb costly penalty & it completely screws the whole team
Great playing by many can’t compensate for the few that make the big mistakes
