Stanford #5 took away a nearly-guaranteed interception out of the hands of Stanford #11 on Bear's first pass against Stanford...stop being greedy and be a team player. Ugh.

Love the defensive effort. They're doing mostly all the right things...LJ Martin ran through a few Stanford attempted tackles, and they shot themselves in the foot losing a high-probability interception from friendly fire. But they should be alright if the offense gives them some rest. That tackle of Bachmeier in the backfield was a sign of legitimacy.
Great job to special teams for sniffing out that failed trick play. Gulbranson with an okay throw and good completion. Let's go...!

But I’m getting a sneaky suspicion that part of Gulbransons problems are that no receivers get open quickly after the snap

They held a very high scoring offense to 6 pts in first quarter giving the ball to our O with some 3.5 min left
Our O who gained, what, one first down so far?
Kudos to our D

The receivers are open, imo, just not super open. That's life. Find the windows, anticipate, get Roush the ball. BG's arm just isn't strong enough to throw accurately on the run.
Egregious pick. BG should be done. Overthrew #18 into the waiting arms of a defender.

There's no world in which Gulbrandson should stay in this game. If he does, he must have compromising photos of Luck and Reich. :) No pressure, short throw...no explanation other than he is terrible at throwing a football.

QB coach is still talking to BG while EB gets up and walks around. I don't think EB is coming in, but I can hope.
Defense is doing their part by stopping BYU after a turnover in the Stanford red zone. BYU FG attempt incoming.
