So, I've been following along on my mobile device, and I accidentally "rated" the thread with one star when I was trying to cleverly click on a link. Unfortunately, it seems that I can't change the rating that I mistakenly provided this thread.
In any case, great to see yet another sport competing in the NCAA Finals!

Wow. Oklahoma State missed a 3 foot putt to lose on the extra hole. Tough way to lose. But it helps us, I think. Texas is a good team, but Stanford has a better chance against Texas than we would have had against OSU.

I had the same question about conceding putts. It looked like the Texas guy had about an 18" putt and the OSU guy conceded it, putting the pressure on himself to make his 3 ft putt. Would it have been bad form for him to make the Texas guy sink his 18" putt?

Yeah, I don't think the NCAA individual champion by 5 strokes getting crushed 4&3 is something we would have been able to
count on. On top of that, both of their seniors needed to lose to give Texas the W. Would not count on that happening
very many times at all.

I think it is 90 if we lose, and 100 if we win. But either way, we displace an existing sport, so we will net something like 30 to 40.

OSU was having a rather bad day, for them. I was pretty confident they would have a better day tomorrow, so very happy to see their bad day ultimately was their last day.
Texas is good too, but their five days on the course have been roughly similar to Stanford's experience on the course. Can't wait to see what happens.

Yes, it would have been bad form to make him putt the tap-in. And I think the putt was longer than 3 ft. (more like 4 to 5 ft). Did the one thing you can't do in golf (three-putt for bogey).

The upshot is that they've been there for at least five days now, so their clocks should be set to central time.

Salinda and Wu were 2 and 0 today. Snyder and Tuleubayev were 1 and 1. Particularly nice comeback for Tuleubayev, who lost in the quarterfinals 5&4. Shimp was the tough luck loser 1-up and 2-up.
For Texas, Hammer and Chervony went 2 and 0. There are two P. Coody's, Parker and Pierceson and golf stat identifies players only by first initial, last name, but I think they each went 1 and 1. Soosman lost both of his matches.
