Where do you see this?  My channel moved on to wrestling before awards were announced.

Award ceremony is still live on the ESPN app or web site. I didn't switch over soon enough to see the all tournament team named (if that's where it was).

Did Hayley win the MVP of the tourney?

Yes, and Anna on the team, announced early. Rest of team, Sabally from Oregin, two from Utah. Who did I miss? Still cutting nets, have just gotten to the coaches.

I'm starting to think Haley sandbags on 3s all season so that she can catch opponents leaving her open in the postseason. This is the second year she's done that! ;-)

No Brink? Lexie?

She has a strange hitch in her shooting motion and some of her shots are flat darts that have no chance of entering the basket.  When she gets good arc on her shots they mostly go in the basket.

I think Haley is better than she plays in most games.  When she plays to her full ability, she is unstoppable.

Because Santa Clara is local to me, I had been cheering for them in the WCC final. Then I found out who the USF coach was.

Lexi was robbed, but nice to see Brink and Wilson on the all-conference team and Jones be the most outstanding player, which she was.

Maybe like Braden Montgomery. She doesn’t really start to concentrate until it’s important.

Brink.

Kneepkins and Johnson had outstanding years, and they were part of three victories to get Utah to the finals.  But they were not at all effective in the final.  I do think Lexie was deserving.

There's still time for Lexie to get MOP at the Final Four....

RE: WBB: Pac 12 Champions! Stanford 72 -- UT 48 - chimera - 03-06-2022

That was a fantastic effort.  Defense was outstanding in the second half.   Jones played the tournament like we need her to play to win it all.  When she is on nobody can stop her.  I too thought Lexie deserved all-tournament but they always do the format they did for this year, spreading the wealth.  Brink was great.  Wilson was great.  Lacie was great in her role.  The bench did well when they got in - Belibi leading the bench brigade.  We are a very different team now than a month or two ago.  The guards, specifically Wilson and Lacie, have really grown in their roles.  It's been really fun to see that improvement.

RE: WBB: Pac 12 Champions! Stanford 72 -- UT 48 - martyup - 03-06-2022

Now all that is left is to shoot for the triple three . . . 33-3.

That'd be great, but I'll be a bit more selfish (current 28-3 record) and hope for a 34-3 to win the championship again!

I had to look it up... Molly Goodenbour! We named our recalcitrant Pembroke Welsh corgi Molly after her. I think in one of Tara's press conferences she said Molly was responsible for all her gray hairs. Very fun player to watch. Nice to know she is coaching now, best of luck to her.

RE: WBB: Pac 12 Champions! Stanford 72 -- UT 48 - PVTree - 03-06-2022

Can we change the thread title to reflect the actual score of 73-48? We're shortchanging ourselves a point.

RE: WBB: Pac 12 Champions! Stanford 72 -- UT 48 - BobK - 03-06-2022

Molly has coach for about 20 plus years

RE: WBB: Pac 12 Champions! Stanford 72 -- UT 48 - yvonne - 03-06-2022

Only since 2016 at USF, though.

Yeah, I was in LA for the Final Four Molly played in. I think she was MVP.

Just confirmed it, Molly WAS the MOP. Also for the regional that year.
