Ganne is 2 down through 6. She is playing well enough, but her opponent has birdied 3 of the 6 holes.
Xu is 2 up through 7
Englemann is 3 up through 5
Seay is all square through 5
Zhang is 1 down through 4

Zhang missing shots to the right. Looks like she is trying to fix it on the fly.
The rest of her game has also not been sharp. Perhaps we are seeing some tired play. Her opponent is giving her opportunities if she can take advantage.
Xu goes double bogey-bogey on 9 and 10. Her lead is down to 1 hole.
Momentum is real in team golf and USC has it right now.

Tied 2-2-1 at the halfway point, but trending towards the wrong direction as Xu and Zhang each lost a hole.

Unless Ganne and Zhang can turn around their matches, Stanford has only one path to the finals - Xu, Seay and Englemann all have to win.
Englemann appears to be in control, 4 up after 9
Xu 1 up through 11
Seay 1 down through 10
Just after I typed this, Ganne rolled in a birdie on 11 to get within 1 hole of her opponent. Momentum to Ganne.
Ganne wins 12 to square her match!
No sign however of Zhang turning around her match.

Rose's ball striking is really off this afternoon.
If you told me that Xu & Englemann were leading/winning their matches, I'd have expected the potential for a 5-0. Instead we are down and running out of holes.
Ganne just lost so 1-1 now.
Seay is gonna need to rally or we are going home.

Although there is still hope given who is left on the golf course it's fair to say it looks grim.

Not a big deal but I'm wondering why WFU drew #7 A&M while Stanford drew #5 USC? You have to beat whomever you are lined up with but it would have been nice to not meet a conference peer in the Semifinals. /Lefty

Navarrosa hit a clutch putt on 16 to stay ahead of Zhang by 2. Zhang needs to win both 17 &18 to keep Stanford alive.
