Pro football doesn't recognize playoff stats as career stats. NCAA does.

Tom Brady has more than Brees…. Brady is #1 in the NFL (regular season stats only) with 83,158 (passing plus rushing) as of today. He will soon surpass Allen.

Pretty sure he used it in Rio Grande. Perhaps in She Wore a Yellow Ribbon. However I think he used it in a picture more than once. My dad worked with him a bunch of times.

I believe the quote by the Alabama coach was “I’m a left-handed ham sandwich”. He was referring to the 1992 team with Adam Keene and not much else. I forgot the coach’s name, though.
I’m guessing the first quote was in reference to Bill Walsh, frequently referred to as a genius. No clue who said it, though.

You're right, it was Joe Theismann talking about Bill Walsh. And the Alabama coach was Wimp Sanderson.
No idea on the former Stanford athlete.

I know this one because I was involved in the story over who has the real "Catch" Dwight Clark ball.
Len Eshmont. He is the guy whose name is on an award that Niners players vote on at season's end as the player most admired for his guts.
Albert threw a swing pass to Johnny Strike who lateraled to Eshmont for the TD. Can't remember how many yards.
What 49er receiver led the AAFC in catches in the first year of the league?
