FWIW, the TV listings show the first match at 7am PDT (not 6am), and Stanford vs. FSU at 10:00am.  So that agrees with Stanford's press release and contradicts the NCAA bracket.

ETA:  today (May 4), the NCAA bracket is updated, and also shows Stanford's first match at 10:00am PDT.

If they win, they would play again at 2pm.  If they lose the first match, they play at 12:00pm PDT.

Four opening round matches being televised on ESPNU tomorrow morning, 7, 8, 9, and Stanford at 10 PT. I don't know how many courts are available. There will probably be some overlap of matches.

Stanford's first match is against Florida State. Here are a couple tidbits about FSU. Because the total number of team and staff is restricted, FSU had to buy four spectator seats for four of its non-starting players. These players are not allowed to interact with their teammates on the beach during tourney play, what a bummer.

One of FSU's players, Sara Putt, is 24 years old and is in her sixth year of playing.

156 Beach teams and the ncaa championships have just 8 teams. I thought that was the lowest of low but it just gets worse

I'm guessing they'll have five courts active at Gulf Shores, so all five flights playing simultaneously.

Before Cal Poly she played for UCLA.

That is a volleyball family.  I saw her mother, Kelly Stand play pro beach with her twin sister Lisa Strand Ma'a.

Dailey & McKinney fight off six set points to take their first set 27-25.  Stanford also takes set 1 at 1s and 2s.  Cal Poly wins close sets at 3s and 4s.
