I love Lepolo's polish and skillset. She will need to adjust, but maybe she blossoms into Stanford's version of the NC State PG who transferred from Fullerton, Raina Perez. She was one of my favorite players last season, and Perez was even shorter.
Also still hoping another PG joins from 2023 like Hidalgo or Briggs.

Kate Paye just started following 2025 PG Aaliyah Chavez. She likely will be one of the top players in her class and is already an elite scorer. Reminds me a bit of Caitlin Clark.

Chavez is a star but I kind of like the player from SoCal recently posted about better Deal

Kate Koval, 6'5, 2024 on Bob's list is from a Long Island HS, from Ukraine. Koval has offer from Stanford. Also Louisville, Duke, South Carolina and others

Of course, Kate Koval attends Long Island Lutheran. It is probably the best basketball school in the area (short of Christ the King, in Queens) and where Celeste Taylor went before her trip to Texas and now Duke. She apparently was also offered by Harvard.

She also plays a lot with her sister so by necessity she is more of a high post. Hopefully she gets the chance to develop her low post skills more when her bigger sister is at Stanford. My uneducated opinion is that she has a Cameron Brink type game ie. can do everything

I did not include everyone, just the debuts that I could remember as relevant. Joyce stayed put at #1.

Seems like 2 more players in the class of 2023 then because you want at least 3 scholarships for the class of 2024 with so many top players considering Stanford.

I think we are still in the running for Joyce Edwards. I like our chances with Cheli, Betts, and Jazzy Davidson for down the road. Lots of great recruiting potential the next few years. Love to see it. I also share the sentiment that I hope we keep an extra spot open if Hannah Jump or Fran want to return for an extra Covid year.
