How about Brian Dutcher from San Diego State?  In his worst year, the Aztecs went 21-13. He's made the Tourney 3 times but never won a game there.  Let's give him a major-conference roster and see what he can do with it.

Of course, if Dutcher waits a few years, he might end up in the Pac-12 without changing schools...

He just surpassed the legendary Terry Holland for most wins at UVa. His approach to salary negotiation says a lot about his character:

I'd be surprised if he left Charlottesville. He's done well with the transfer portal and that would be more limited at Stanford.

Ingram shouldn't sit unless totally gassed. S Jones not strong enuf under basket. Murell misses D assignments. McConnell and Silva useless. We don't defend lob at all. M Jones limited and not good on D. Same o same o sameo.

Coach Haase’s previous worst Stanford start was 0-4 conference
He’s blowing past that setting a new loss “PR” of 0-6
I wonder what is all time worst Stanford conference start?
Haase may be eying that record too
Hey Bernie, when will this torture end?
Somehow the pain would seem somewhat less with an interim coach taking the lead
It would at least say that if you suck this bad for this long then something’s gonna hit the fan
And I’d like say thanks Coach for the great years
Like was done for coach Shaw
But really when were those great years?
Couple good ones years ago based mainly on inherited players if I recall

There were no great years under Haase. There weren't even any good years. Never even got a whiff of a tourney bid. Bye Felicia.
