Agreed. Oklahoma was the #3 overall seed and Mississippi State was somewhere below #16, as they won the Eugene regional hosted by #14 Oregon. 4250 fans, the most in college softball outside of Oklahoma City, saw MSU win today's deciding game by a score of 6-0.

Good stuff. Did not know that. UF really let the drama go to their heads and it affected their game.

This is allowed? Apparently this is part of what UF is upset about.
Texas Tech head coach Gerry Glasco switched pitchers between NiJaree Canady and Kaitlyn Terry 5 times in Game 3 of the Gainesville Super Regional. This unusual tactic, which they used to constantly create left-on-left or right-on-right pitching matchups, took place over 5 innings and was implemented to keep the Florida hitters off balance.

I was following Texas Tech-Florida on my ESPN phone app and checked out the box score in the middle of the game. The box score showed pitching stats for Canady's and the other pitcher's first appearances and then the third pitcher listed was TEAM. They sorted it out at the end of the game. Definitely a statistician's nightmare, as inherited runners were scoring early and often.

Florida fans seem to be upset about it on social media. Calling it a "bitch move" and what not. I'm not sure why because neither Canady nor Terry was particularly good in that game. They combined to give up 7 earned runs in 5 innings. Florida's pitchers were abysmal which is why they got run ruled.

I call it "sour grapes." I am by no means a Texas Tech fan, but maybe the Gator fans are channeling their inner Tim Walton (Florida's coach who was ejected in the elimination game for arguing balls-and-strikes).

Yep, and Texas has "only" 4 transfers on its roster. Stanford, to my knowledge has 1 (Taryn Kern). Texas Tech, on the other hand, has 15.

TCU or TTU? Texas Tech spent heavily, including several hundred thousand on Canady, who was the losing pitcher today. I was kind of hoping she would win a title, notwithstanding my schadenfreude that Texas Tech came up empty.

Texas had 15 players participate in the deciding game. Two were transfers:
