Unlikely that any 2021 has been admitted yet. We almost never see admissions before sixth semester grades.

Keep in mind future SATs have been cancelled. There's a reason all the recent offers are academic no-brainers.

For what it's worth, Rivals shows 38 offers for Josh Moore, including several Ivies, a handful of group of 5 schools, but also some bluebloods like Nebraska, Notre Dame and Michigan State. No offer from Georgia, but Georgia Tech offered him, so he had a chance to stay close to home and attend an AAU/FBS football school.

Moore comes from the same high school as Greg Taboada and going further back Jeff Edwards and Leigh Torrence.

Basically agree with all the above. Taking your minimums, that adds up to a class of 17, which seems about right for a "smaller" class. Not 14 again, please...
Quick corrections to your 2020 numbers: we had 3 CB signings this class, not 2 (although rumor has it one of them could play S/NB), and 3 WR, not 2.
Quoting this post from a while back re: expected numbers. I believe 17-18 seems about right. No LDS guys returning this year on scholarship - there is a walk-on LDS OL coming in this class though.

Thanks SamuelMcF. I do remember that post from December, but that was before we knew that 10 (?) scholarship players would be leaving Stanford for other pastures as graduate transfers. So I was wondering if the 2020 graduate transfer phenomenon would have an effect on the scholarship needs/counts for 2021. I gather from your post that you think this will not be the case.

I don't think target numbers have changed that much. Keep in mind many of the departures were expected and necessary. (We are currently at 82 scholarship players after all the departures, Pryts' retirement, and Trey Stratford's medical retirement.)
Perhaps going forward there will be a bit of a mindset shift given the fact that more freshmen are burning their shirts. And I already have in the back of my mind the rising seniors who may grad transfer.

Given that a safety from 2020 is not enrolling, we may need to up that number. But two true safeties and a cornerback is a very good start for the defensive backfield.
Now FFS, lets get some defensive linemen and linebackers.
