This is the last year to get something for Belt. Assuming that they are not really thinking of contending in '21 and that they have to make room for the two young catchers down the road (one of whom might play first) what can they get?

Got bad news for you Phogge, Belt is going nowhere.  Heck, if he has another good season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is re-signed to a short term deal at the end of the season.

Brad Penny pitched for SF at the tail end of his career.  He earned a WS ring for his brief time with the Giants.

Bonds is the guy listed who is deserving of a HOF plaque.

Yeah. Here is what will happen. Has a decent 2021, say 21 and 85. Then he resigns and the next year it's 14 and 55 and .214. Max value is NOW.

He is definitely a “Farhan kinda guy” - coming off injuries, big-time upside, reasonable cost, and, of course, left-handed.  He is a Gausman/Smyly type of pitcher.  Pay him a few million, watch him flourish and flip him in July for high value prospects.

Note: Zaidi traded for him when he was working for the Dodgers.

Don’t disagree with you often, but I do on Wood.  Doesn’t have near the stuff of Smyly.  Not to mention Gausman.  Funky delivery, so he’s deceptive.  He’s had two good years - 2014 and 2017.  Otherwise meh to bad. Doesn’t eat innings.  Injury prone.  Obviously it depends on the cost.  But I would not give him close to what Atlanta gave Smyly. (Realize you aren’t suggesting he’s worth 11 for a year)

22 first basemen are rated by batting stats.  If Belt had enough ABs, he'd be #2 in MLB, based on his 1.015 OPS in 2020 (only Freddie Freeman was higher).  He finished 16th in NL MVP voting.  Had he played 153 games instead of 51, he'd be a 40 2B/27 HR/90 RBI guy.  I'd rather we kept Belt for the time being.  Farhan's/Kapler's coaches seemed to have worked batting miracles on the starters, particularly Belt.  He's become the first baseman we hoped he'd be.

In my first ever major league game, I saw Jim Barr throw a curveball to Stargell that was so slow, and Stargell swung and missed so hard that Stargell spun around twice and fell on his keister.  To an nine-year-old, that was the greatest thing ever.

Agreed.  It's not the Hall of Really Swell Guys Who Never Did Anything Wrong.  Bonds, absolutely in.
Jeff Kent, one of the top seven second basemen of all time.  In.  Second most HRs by a second basemen.
Zito.  .535 career w/l.  No chance.
Hudson, .625 career w/l.  Better than Walter Johnson, Cy Young, Bob Gibson, Newcombe, Hubbell, Joss, Feller, Sabathia, Seaver, Spahn, McDowell and a bunch of others.  I say take him.

Vizquel's a toughie.  Nearly 3,000 hits, just three all star teams, but 11 gold gloves.  Third in career assists for shortstops.  Ninth career defensive WAR.  404 stolen bases.  Very similar to HoFers Aparicio, Ozzie Smith.  I say yes.  His support has been going up and was 52%+ last time around in the BBWAA voting for the HoF.

Steroids have been on the banned substance list since 1991.
