We have a winner! Nice going, Terry. Mr. Garcia threw for 4,278 yards in the 2000 season when the 49ers went 6-10, one year before their 12-4 NFC Wild Card loss season.
Best yardage seasons from other 49er quarterbacks:
Garcia, 4,278 (2000, 6-10)
Young, 4,170 (1998, 11-4) Young was 37.
Garoppolo, 3,978 (2019, 13-3)
Montana, 3,944 (1990, 14-1) Montana was 34
DeBerg, 3,652 (1979, 2-13)
Kaepernick, 3,369 (2014, 8-8)
Alex Smith, 3,144 (2011, 13-3)
Brodie, 3,112 (1965, 7-5-1)
Tittle, 2,205 (1954, 6-4-1). He would go on to throw for 3,224 as a 36 year old QB for the Giants in 1962.
Albert, 1,990 (1948, 12-2)

Bob is correct, assuming one doesn't count the "Mount Davis" additional seats at the Oakland Coliseum, which have only been made available for three baseball games since 2005. Dodger Stadium capacity is 56,000.
In the Giants' three game sweep over the Dodgers, the attendance was 49,074, 51,385 and 52,307. The rivalry is alive and well.
Giants have swept three road series in a row for the first time since 1952...and they almost swept a fourth, winning three of four against Milwaukee.

Luis Arraez is hitting .398 as we approach the halfway point of the season. Of course, no major leaguer has hit .400 since Ted Williams in 1941. There have been four players since 1941 who hit .380 or better. Who were they?
