Did anyone wear a mask at the Amy Barrett event? It is quite a statement that a Catholic university president can’t follow his principles at an event for a presumed Supreme Court nominee. If any should not be swayed by “peer “ pressure, it should be him.

So a bunch of staffers that were at the debate also tested positive. Were they also at the ACB event? If not, there may have been two super-spreader events by POTUS this past week.

Yes, I will keep pointing it out until they do the responsible thing and bring an end to the season that should have never started.
I have no under as it is fairly obvious that the powers that be are doing all they can to push forward at the expense of public safety and player safety.

Given the Pac12's reliance on quick testing as perhaps the main reason for changing their minds on the season, I wonder if any of the powers that be are having second thoughts after the Trump inner circle outbreak has highlighted the gaps in that strategy. I guess they're committed at this point.

I guess they're committed at this point.The Pac-12 likely will have second thoughts, but I think the experiences of opponents of the teams with outbreaks in different NCAAF and pro sports has been a good sign. Looks as if opponents may not have enough sustained contact if it is really just a player or two in the yet to test positive category on the other team.
However, the SEC has a different take on the world's most well documented outdoor superspreader event.

It's going to take a.) players revolting, or b.) a Very Bad Outcome to halt the CFB season before Thanksgiving.
Les Miles, 66, has covid. Fortunately, he's said to be recovering at home. But if another elder coach comes down with it, they might not be so lucky.

Anyone know what kind of test Saban had that returned a positive result? ESPN is reporting he is now getting a PCR test to confirm, so I assume the positive test was not a PCR.
