I agree it is a non-problem. However, given the number of idiotic laws that have been enacted over the years I doubt anyone will wonder why this one was. Fixing non-problems is a politicians bread and butter. When it turns out to not be a problem they can take credit for "solving" it.
Yes, idiotic laws are now a mandatory part of the government landscape.  Learn to love it.

As a matter of natural law, men have a right to:

Mind you, none of the activities above can actually make a female of a male, but it is none of my concern if any male chooses to conduct his affairs in such a manner.

Also as a matter of natural law, however, women have a right to associate with whom they please, including in athletic competitions. Accordingly, women may choose to exclude men from their athletic competitions, and no man has a right to force them to do otherwise.

Any laws in conflict with these principles are indeed idiotic.

None of the last three posts (which span both ends of the political spectrum) deal with Stanford, sports, or ideally Stanford sports.  Accordingly, I put a pause on this thread, pending discussion with the other mods.  A reminder that with a single narrow exception to discuss the war in Ukraine, the person who is responsible for the existence of this site has asked that people refrain from political topics.
