Lauren Kim is in the field. But it's an 18 year old from Canada, not Stanford's Lauren Kim.
I also have always kept my eye on results from Angela Stanford simply because my brain is trained to pick out the word "Stanford" wherever I see it.

Pebble looked like it was playing a bit tough yesterday. #1 player in the world Jin Young Ko is +7. #2 player in the world Nelly Korda is +4. All told, 16 players who have won major championships were +3 or higher.
I wouldn't be surprised if pin positions are a little easier today and the cut line remains where it is now at +2

It would be great to see all four Stanford Women make the cut.
Through the morning players in Round 2, Pebble Beach is playing almost 2/3 of a shot harder than in Round 1. Estimated cut line is +6.
Zhang shot 71 today and will make the cut. She is at +1.
Andrea Lee shot 73 and is at +3. She will make the cut.
Valenzuela is just beginning her round.
Englemann, Krauter and Xu will not make the cut. They are at +7, +9 and +12 respectively.

Rose and Albane are tied at 19 and Andrea is not far behind. A lot can happen over two more rounds at Pebble. Results show Albane has really improved her game this last few months.

As far as I can tell, there are three Stanford players in the US Women's Am field:
Kelly Xu, rising Soph
Megha Ganne, rising Soph
Rachel Heck, rising Senior
I'm not sure what the rankings cut off is for automatic entry, but apparently Sadie Englemann and Brooke Seay, who are currently just outside the world top 50, did not meet it, nor did they gain entry via one of the qualifying tournaments.

Xu and Heck start with even par 70. Ganne is finishing her round at +4.
Remember that the goal is to be one of the low 64 players after tomorrow's stroke play round and advance to match play.
The tournament is being played at Bel Air Country Club in LA, a few miles from my house. I am hopeful to be able to get out there later this week to watch our Stanford Cardinal golfers and to see Bel Air, a hidden gem.

Heck shot a solid 67 (-3) in Round 2 and currently is tied for 4th overall. She is definitely qualifying for match play.
Ganne had a good round going until she double bogeyed the par 3 13th hole. But she recovered from that by making birdies on 3 of the final 4 holes for a 67 (-3) of her own. Just fantastic, clutch play when she really needed it. Ganne is at +1 overall. The projected cut line is +3. Ganne is making match play as well.
Xu has yet to tee off today.

Rachel Heck outlasted Sera Hasegawa from Baylor with a birdie on the 21st hole. She plays Rin Yoshida from Japan in the round of 32 tomorrow. Yoshida is the 17th ranked amateur in the world. Heck is 25th.
Kelly Xu leads Megha Ganne 1 up at the turn. The winner will face Megan Schofill tomorrow (21st in the world).

Rachel Heck was even with her opponent Rin Yoshida at the turn, but won 10, 11 and 12 with 2 pars and a birdie, then rode that lead to a 4 and 2 victory. In the round of 16 this afternoon, she plays teenager Nikki Oh. Oh's father is Ted Oh, a great collegiate golfer at UNLV, and known more recently as Lydia Ko's coach.
Kelly Xu had a great start, 3 up after 4 holes. But her opponent Megan Schofill then went 3-3-3-5-3-3-3-3 to turn a deficit into a 2 up lead. Xu got one back on 13. She is 1 down with 5 to play. This has been a tremendous match.
Heck's round of 16 match begins at 1:10 and will probably be prominently featured when Golf Channel begins its coverage at 3 pm pacific.
