There are videos out there showing Karty making kicks from 70.

Watch it again. #70 was in the end zone pulling the runner towards him.

It's not legal to pull a runner into the end zone. You can push him but not pull him.

When I was little back in the 60s, I had a book of referee signals. It might have been called Football Rules in Pictures. It had a ref signal for "pushing, crawling, or helping the runner." I always remembered that but never saw it called in all the years I watched football. I wonder just when the rule was changed.

Strong leg but his accuracy seems suspect. Maybe Alamar can improve that.

I just re-watched the game and noticed that Jones was not hitting the open holes. Several times he missed opportunities to gain more yards. I would say that in this game he didn't seem to have good RB vision. BTW, Hinton is a stud. He literally plowed down defensive lineman all night long. We need to find a better way to harness that big guy and get our ball carriers up the field.
Against K-State, Smith showed pretty good vision and made a couple of good jump cuts to open lanes for good yardage. Maybe Smith should get more carries.
The bottom line is that we have too much talent in the backfield and in the trenches to be doing so poorly running the ball.

I don't think Jones is all that good at pass blocking, protecting McKee is going to remain critical.

I remember making the same comment multiple times during the game, and maybe even in the K State game as well.
Interesting because it's not something I noticed last year.
Hopefully it's just an low data points anomaly, but I wonder if vision something that can be taught if not?

I thought he had a couple of good blitz pick-ups that gave McKee time to let routes develop.
