3-0 top of third. 1b Schultz missed an easy pop-up. Yesterday 2b Mahler missed an easy ground ball. It bothers me these were such easy plays to make.

toward a top national seed.
Up next, 5 home games to end the regular season.
ASU's tourney hopes are also probably dashed by the Card as their
losing streak and late season swoon continues.

Doubleheader today against Sacramento State at 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Both games are being televised on PAC-12 Bay Area. PAC-12 Network, for all its financially failings, is actually quite good about televising the sports I enjoy watching the most.
Sacramento State has a doubleheader on Friday against a league opponent. That should determine the winner of the Big Sky conference. There is much at stake for them to stay highly motivated.

On the Stanford webpage schedule it says both games have been cancelled. I feel bad for the Sacramento State players. They drove all this way for nothing.

The series for many of the marbles (high seed in Pac tourney, high seed in NCAA tourney) has begun between Washington and Stanford.
No score in B3 in tight pitcher's duel.
The conditions are also absolutely terrible for the first week of May. Pretty steady downpour and low 50's.

And the horrible conditions have resulted in a suspension of the contest until tomorrow. It will be no score in the T5 when the game resumes.

They actually completed the game tonight with Stanford scoring 2 in the bottom of the 6th for a come from behind 2-1 win!!
