Just came out. She's committed!   Tess Heal Transfers to Stanford

Losing Kiki really cut deep.

Nicely done!

RE: Class of 2025+ - joemontes - 05-14-2024

It's great that both transfer portal targets Tess HEAL and Mary Ashley STEVENSON
were able to successfully transfer to Stanford.

Welcome ladies!

Does this also mean that Stanford is done with its 2025 recruiting?

RE: Class of 2025+ - BobK - 05-14-2024

We have 1-2 Openings for 2025.
Green came as a walk on
Harriel might or might not use her redshirt

RE: Class of 2025+ - pauloalto - 05-16-2024

WBB scholarships with Heal and Stevenson added ...

(Thanks and a tip of the hat to BobK!)

Except Green is year to year and Harriel should graduate

From USA U17 Trials: 6'5" 2025 commit Alex Eschmeyer made the finalists group.
https://www.usab.com/news/2024/05/finalists-selected-for-the-2024-usa-womens-u17-national-team

From Twitter, one service predicts she could contend for the final roster while another scout says she was the most improved player in the trials.

Prospects Nation's blurb on Eschmeyer from their trials coverage:

"Eschmeyer is a kid we’ve seen multiple times but never in this type of setting.  She did a terrific job of using her length to bother shots in the lane without swinging and fouling.  She was solid in their drag action and made the bunnies you need your 5-player to make.  What gave her another level of impact was her ability to hit the trail and pop three ball and draw rim-protectors away from the basket." (https://prospectsnation.com/story/usa-trials-after-cut)

Fellow 2025 commits Hailee Swain safely advanced while Carly Amborn did not.

Other finalists of note: Addison Bjorn and McKenna Woliczko (both 2026 with offers). Jacy Abii (on our list but can't find confirmation of an offer, though I did see an article that Stanford was the first school to contact her...in 7th grade!).

Also, '25 Holland Harris (announced Stanford in her top 6 schools earlier this year) did not survive cuts, nor did ESPN's #16 for '26 PG from Minnesota Maddyn Greenway (offered last fall).

Swain and Eschmeyer move up the rankings at #5 and #38. Amborn stays #60.

Thanks for checking. I updated the ESPN and Blue Star rankings lately but didn't get to PN. Done now.

Thanks for sharing! The top 3 overall for 2025 are pretty elite so not sure Swain will get that high but she is a top 10 in her class for sure regardless of what ESPN says. I think Lara Somfai is very underrated and a top 20 recruit if we can land her. It’s hurt her ranking not playing in the US as long. 2025 could end up being an exceptional class for us.

RE: Class of 2025+ - PVTree - 05-31-2024

PN has Eschmeyer as undecided. I guess they haven't gotten the news yet.

Based on their official final roster for the 2024 U17 USA team,
am I right in concluding that ESCHMEYER is their only true post player?
The others are a bunch of 6'1 or 6'2 players who are either SG or SF
based on their ESPN profile.

Based on her film, big Somfai fan here, and, indeed, it would be an excellent class.

RE: Class of 2025+ - BosCard - 05-31-2024

Add Davidson and Somfai and this could be a best class ever.  Plus all different positions. Uber athletic PG, shooter, Uber athletic wing, super skilled PF and super skilled 5.
