Oh, snap. No response to my email from the president, AD, assistant AD, or Tara. I guess we can technically field a team of 9 if no one else transfers, but I'm not sure towards what end...
That's what I'm hoping. I did get a late-night response from Levin.

Hotel Citron needs to get their money back!
I feel like the hotel really missed out on an opportunity when we were recruiting Sonia, but alas she elected to go to ND. Does she have any eligibility left?

Hard for me to believe, but I have been surprised before.
In my mind, Tempie would be the assistant most capable of taking over for a year. Not sure she would want that, though. I get the impression that we had to woo her back from private life to get her to come back for her second stint.

I have zero insights as to what's going on with your once-super elite WBB program, but I am quite amazed at the lack of any formal/public communication coming from Mr. Donahoe's office since your Banquet was cancelled. There seems to be extreme caution and lack of urgency in coming to conclusions about what has happened (multiple players leaving, allegations, etc.) making decisive decisions and taking action.
Compare this lack of urgency with the decisive speed Virginia A.D. Carla Williams and her leadership team had in dealing with their own player allegations, firing Coach 'Mox' (as she is known), forming a search committee and hiring Aaron Roussell from Richmond. I have strong ties to UVA, going all the way back to the Debbie Ryan era and Ie had an inkling of the problems before traveling to the Sacramento Regionals this past March to cheer the team on.
Roussell is now in place to recruit players in the portal, stabilize the team and help prepare them for his style of winning basketball. He did exceptionally well at Richmond. As for Stanford, it seems to me that the longer the silence goes, the more likely Kate Paye stays; a coach that I think everyone on this Board believes is not the person Stanford needs to turn the program around.
At a time when changes are needed now, why the caution? why the lack of urgency?

Regarding my post, I got that from someone else closer to the program. At this point it it’s in the admin hands and my prayers to the basketballs to keep the players we have and hopefully have some withdraw their names from the portal. Yesterday was an ok day with no entries and only Lara committing to TCU.

1000%. Agree UVA (where my dtr is alum) handled it so much better as of now!

Can you define “closer to the program”?

Double Brutal. Catastrophic.

Also, all of the players I've started following on Instagram are positively sharing each other's portal announcements and new commitments - even some who haven't (yet?) entered the portal. It's very clear the coaches have lost the locker room and I don't see any path forward without a coaching change.

It's Stanford, LOL. My uninformed speculation is that a counsel-led investigation is taking place that will last 6+ weeks before a "decision" is made about KP (hint, a decision has likely already been made).
I'd bet on an interim coach for next season.

Question: Is a player like Chloe (who hasn't yet graduated) really leaving her degree on the table? If she has a handful of classes left, can she get re-admitted to finish at a later time?
