yes, I just hope he can stay on this streak. Not sure why he just stops hitting like he does, but let's hope he stays on it as this lineup needs a boost like he had over the weekend!!!
Another good sign. Jones seems to be getting his stroke back. If he gets to 2/3 of last season, Martinez stays hot, and Montgomery keeps it up, my main concern is pitching.
I concur. I think our hitters - as a group - have a chance to be one of the most dangerous lineups in the country. Seven of the starters have big time power and can also hit for average. Our two line drive hitters are solid at that doing just that. The pitchers' upside doesn't strike me as nearly as high: we have two stud starters and a handful of solid pitchers behind them.
Not so sure about the pitchers behind our two aces. They had their moments early in the season but since then, well ...
Looking for Drew Dowd to regain his early season performance.

And that's how we do it! Carter Graham with a 3-run homer in the third. The guys are bringing back the long ball.

I haven't watched BB once this season. Turned it on about 15 min ago because there is nothing else on. And....Montgomery hits one of the longest HRs I've ever seen in the cool air of LA. It was still rising way over the wall when it disappeared. No one knows where it landed. Uh, he looks like a pretty good player.

Woohoo! A great offensive performance against a pitching staff which has been very good this year. Jones' BA is creeping up and so is Bowser's.
Now, to just clean up those errors and keep improving the relief (which by the way, was fine this weekend).
