Definitely shakes things up for the 2nd through 4th #1 seeds. Stanford needs to take care of business, but the reveal at halftime Thursday should be interesting.

Thursday 2 Indiana takes on 5 Iowa at 3:30.
Sunday 1 South Carolina takes on 3 LSU at exactly the same time we play Arizona State, 11am.

How close is Oregon to being on the bubble? They are 5-9 in conference. 14-11 overall. Lost 7 of 8.
They don’t look like an NCAA caliber team. Those Ionescu years feels like an eternity ago.

Other Pac-12 teams with their seeds are: Stanford(1), Utah(2), Colorado & UCLA(both 5), Arizona(6), USC(9), Washington State(10).

With LSU, UConn, and Iowa all losing this week, we have a good chance at landing in third place in the new rankings. 1-2 are set with South Carolina (who beat LSU) and Indiana (who beat Iowa). After that it is a big question, and you can make a case for Stanford, with two road wins, one against a ranked team (Arizona) to go next. Would we jump LSU, who has no real marquee wins, but also, their only loss was to South Carolina? UConn lost to unbranded Marquette, having also lost to South Carolina last week, so I can see us vaulting over them.
My guess: South Carolina, Indiana, LSU, Stanford, UConn, Iowa are your top six. But Stanford/LSU will be close.

I don't know how Mulkey gets away with squating with both feet in the field of play while the action is on her end of the court. Also, she is constantly screaming at the nearest ref. Man, if I was a ref I would T her up so fast.

Oregon is a mystery to me. They should be better than they are. They have two very good, experienced guards in Rogers and Paopao. They have the good frosh forward, Van Slooten. They have a very tall center who rebounds well and can finish ok if they get her the ball. They did lose a lot to transfer. I don't know if they are an NCAA team. I'd say they may be playing themselves out unless they finish the season with a few wins to get to 17 or 18 wins.
Figures that South Carolina would stomp LSU. LSU really doesn't have the resume to be ranked where they are. Maybe we can't say much after losing to two teams we never should have lost to. Still, LSU to me should be punished for their soft schedule. If the committee does that, fewer teams would try that stuff.

After beating us, UW gets blown out by the mountain schools - Utah put up 92 against them in a 23-pt victory and Colorado used defense, holding the Huskies to 43 points today in an easy 22-pt win.

She is annoying. Every foul called against her team is a bad call. But then I'm old school so maybe my thinking is obsolete.

I wonder if Michael Price has often reffed one of her games. He is known for teeing people up.
No one seems to enforce the coaching box rules, though.

It works for her. Refs would rather not deal with her tantrums so they're happy to look the other way if they can.

So we have 4 Pac12 games remaining against 4 ranked teams. Let’s go! So we should be rooting for Ohio State tonight if we want to get back to #2 assuming we take care of business ourselves the next two weekends?

I guess I could suppress my retching long enough to root for Kevin' McGuff's team, but frankly our need to just keep winning dwarfs whatever anyone else is doing. If the Pac 12 tourney lines up just so, we could play 7 ranked teams in a row.
