In 1965 Jim Maloney of the Reds twice had no hitters into the 10th inning but then gave up a hit
In the first of these and in the 2nd won with a no hitter in a 10 inning games.
New rules took away the first no hitter.

Correct. Cristian Javier started, Abreu relieved for an inning, Montero relieved for another inning, Pressly closed it out.
Philly lost that one, but (hint) Philly won the other one. And it wasn't that long ago. And (hint #2), one of the two catchers who have caught four no-hitters caught that Philly no-hitter.

I was thinking of Leo Durocher, who managed the Dodgers in 1940, 1946 and 1948 (no hitters pitched by Tex Carleton, Ed Head, Rex Barney) and managed the Cubs in 1968. 1971 and 1972 (no hitters pitched by Ken Holtzman 2x and Burt Hooten). Six no-hitters, managed by Durocher.

It’s possible today two players from the same team could go 1-2. That’s never happened however 1-3 same team has happened twice.
