I believe B1G Network (aka Big Ten Network) is majority owned by Fox Sports and minority owned by the conference.  I don't think ESPN+ would carry Fox sports?

Sidney's mother is Amy Sherrill. They divorced in 2013. Amy and Tim are parents of Sidney and Draven. Vanessa and Tim are parents of Quill.

If you don't have access to the B1G network there are some other interesting choices today on ESPN.

Louisville at Kentucky 4:00 pm PT  and Texas at Baylor 6:00 pm PT.  The game being at Baylor they might have a slight chance of beating Texas.

I'm heading to a sports bar in Burlingame shortly.
I think they'll be amenable to putting on a VB match on relatively quiet Wednesday night; they've got lots of screens.
(Pretty sure I watched the Stanford/Nebraska match there a couple of years ago.)

Welp, I was wrong about that; they don't have BTN.
They did have the Louisville/UK match on a couple of screens.

I thought we were gonna take set 2 and then fell apart. Was it 3 straight serving errors late in the set for us. Plus poor blocking late. Have to play much better on the road to win a top 5 matchup. Feels like we will be swept in this one.

It's disappointing but I think the team can learn and grow from this.  Playing at Nebraska with all those fans is a brobdingnagian home court advantage and three of our hitters (Kurt, Harvey, Andrews) are very new to college volleyball.

Stanford played like they just got into town.
Not only did they not play to their potential, but they folded in the 3rd set.
Folding like that is probably mental (at least I presume they're not THAT physically tired).

Certainly, Nebraska played very well, and, yes, they had a big crowd.
But Stanford wasn't the same team as three days and two time zones earlier.

I don't think we looked bad, just that Nebraska looked very good.  I also watched the Pitt vs Penn St match and Pitt looked scary good.

To me, it looked a lot like the match against Texas… with us playing the role of Texas. If you had told me before the season started that we would only have one loss at this point, I would have been quite happy.

To me, it looked like Cinderella lost her slipper, couldn't find it, the prince bailed out early, and she took an Uber home.
Fortunately there's a new fairy-tale-ball again on Sat and Cinderella got an invite.

A much more technical analysis than mine, but seems pretty accurate to me as well… :-)
