I don't follow recruits on Twitter; just relaying this info from the UConn board on another player from Bob's list:

...at least if Stanford ends up in the 13.

Good to see Stanford is a possibility. https://wbbblog.com/maya-nnaji/ has some videos that may not have been posted here.

fyi - one of those links generated a malware alert on my mac, which sophos then cleaned up. not sure, but i believe it was a spoofed request to update my adobe flash player to view the video.

It seems to me many of those colleges have a different appeal to student athletes than Stanford.  Do you think she is really serious about Stanford?

RE: NEW, June 16 Women's Basketball Recruiting - CardinalWBBFan - 10-05-2020

Anything greater than a top-5 or a top-7, especially this early, I think of as more or less a “thanks, but no thanks” to the schools that have offered them that they no longer want to be in contact with.

But, if a Notre Dame or UConn came knocking, she may show interest.

I think there is definitely mutual interest, but too soon to tell exactly how much.

As a side note, we’ve offerred Bollin, Vanslooten, Gardiner, Nnaji, and Betts at the 4/5 positions, and they may look elsewhere [say UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, etc.], to a program that didn’t add a big in the 2021 class, especially not a big of the caliber of Demetre and Iriafen.

I am not sure Demetre counts as a "big".  On her twitter header she calls herself a guard.  My guess is that she is a versatile player who can play anywhere from 2 to 4.  So we only have one true big in 2020 (Brink) and one true big in 2021 (Iriafen).  Plenty of room for two from the grouping of Betts, Gardiner and Nnaji.  I believe both Bollin and Vanslooten are good 3-point shooters so could be 3 or 4's, so it's possible we could get one of them too.

Demetre is more of an Inside Wing Player on D. More Wing on O. This is based on 7 Games I saw after Frosh/soph years.

Sadly no fans this summer.

2022 ESPN #22 Raegan Debeers 6'3 f/c , Colorado, commits to Oregon st

RE: NEW, June 16 Women's Basketball Recruiting - BobK - 10-13-2020

The new PN ranks have Demetre at 9
Iriafen at 21 and Harriel at 58

RE: NEW, June 16 Women's Basketball Recruiting - mbdude - 10-13-2020

I have read that Prospects Nation gives the players that attend their camps a higher rating

RE: NEW, June 16 Women's Basketball Recruiting - BobK - 10-13-2020

Same as espn now, and of course so many in the west didn't attend camps or travel games.

Olson was great went to hundreds of games

RE: NEW, June 16 Women's Basketball Recruiting - CardinalWBBFan - 10-14-2020

Raegan Beers is a nice pickup for Oregon State. Similar to some of the USC post players with the large-frame. Doesn't have the length most of their posts have had. She worked out with a lot of Stanford players this summer. Should help keep them in the third/fourth spot w/ UCLA behind Stanford and Oregon.

Prospects Nation usually held a few camps in California. Demetre attended them in 2015 and 2016, but I don't believe Harriel or Iriafen has. Brink went to their Seattle camps regularly. Unless you go to one of their camps or your club team attends a tournament sponsored by them, Prospects Nation will likely only see you at TOC or USA trials.
