My guess is the committee will find a way to keep Uconn in Bridgeport when it's all said and done. I'm not scared of a rematch with Texas. We are a different team than November.
If we end up in Spokane, the Hulls will get ANOTHER homecoming with the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games being played in their hometown. How awesome would that be! Although a long ways until that point, it is fun to speculate what the bracket will look like. The ESPN bracketologist seems to have gotten better the last few years with predicting seeds and locations (not exact matchups however).

I guarantee you that this will not be the final seeding, so not sure it is worth getting worked up over.

I feel like this is a very low-stakes taunt to the woofing gods, BC. That said, if we want to defend our title, we need to beat all comers, so whether we meet Texas or UConn in the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, Final Four, or championship game, we better find a way to beat them.
(And yes, I'm greedy and no longer satisfied with "solid runs" in March!)

It's worth noting that both #1 Seed Tennessee and #3 Seed LSU both lost in SEC play to Auburn and Arkansas respectively. That's a pretty disastrous loss for Tennessee to a program that had lost double digit SEC games in a row.

Ucla Oregon just postponed. Possible ucla not enough players. Except ucla would be in Eugene since yesterday. Or practice injury

Or possibly Osborne isn't sufficiently recovered from here injury during the UA game. Looked pretty bad when she fell. UCLA finished the game with 6 (?) available players.

Aside from Osborne, why does UCLA have so few players? Covid? Last year they played short because of international travel problems. I think their coach is good, but it seems like they are having trouble managing their roster.

5 players have missed the entire season so far with injuries - Gina Conti, Camryn Brown, Angela Dugalic, Brynn Masikewich, Emily Bessoir. All except for Bessoir could return to play this season, maybe as soon as the next week or two. Bessoir tore her ACL and is out.

Not sure why the teams are playing this so close to their vests unless ucla is trying to negotiate a non-forfeit. The likely scenario is that they don’t have enough players if Osborne is unable to play. I watched UCLA’s last two game and saw Osborne laying on the floor crying in excruciating pain and had to be helped to the bench in both games. The first was the result of contact, the second as the result of a near-normal land. Either she has a low threshold for pain, is histrionic, or (my guess) has a very painful injury that might require rest. Perhaps the team doctor has ruled her out for play this weekend. Lack of info could also be a result of HIPAA Compliance similar to our own team’s reporting in the past. Time will tell.

Apparently not. The
PAC-12 announcement only indicates a LACK of
scholarship members available for a game in the requirements for a game to be a postponement. I wouldn't be surprised if UCLA WBB worked hard to get that nuance (avoiding the mention of COVID). Some players could be out due to dropping out of school or whatever.
- "The Pac-12 has established a minimum roster count with which a team is considered available to play a scheduled basketball game (“Minimum Roster”): at least seven (7) scholarship players and one (1) countable coach available to participate."
Likely, this announcement is not the formal document agreed on. There's a hint of further consideration:
- "Otherwise, upon review and approval by the Commissioner, the game may be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable date or declared a no contest."
In a sense, I agree with it. Why should it matter if a player is out with Covid or Mono or a sprained ankle or because of lack of academic credits or whatever? OTOH, it is to the opponent team's benefit if the other team is given a pass for players with COVID, because their playing could harm the opponents. That's not true for a sprained ankle.

Where would Oregon State be without VonOelhoffen. A lot of their offense runs though her and she scores a lot. Looks like their best player as a freshman.

On ESPN at least UCLA is noted as forfeiting the game against Oregon vs Cal vs Arizona noted as postponed.

Osborne and Hovart with injuries. They think they are real MT. Sad situation at ucla with so many injuries to their roster of 14.
Stanford is scheduled to play at ucla on Thursday

The
PAC-12 has announced it as a forfeit. That's a shame, IMO.
"is considered a forfeit for UCLA in the Conference standings and a league win for Oregon, according to the Pac-12 Conference Handbook’s Administrative Policies. Per NCAA policy, there will be no adjustment to overall records."
I presume that means that their NET rankings and placement for the NCAA tournament are unaffected.

But the win for Oregon and the loss for UCLA will affect their league standings?

Correct. It will affect league standings, and more importantly seeding come PAC-12’s.
