That’s great! Do you have article to share? I recall another time her mentioning Stanford was her dream school. I think we have a great shot to land her although class of 2025 is still a ways off and things can change. Swain has already committed though so maybe Davidson could be another early commit. I think Davidsons mom maybe was an athlete at Oregon.
SWAIN at PG, ESPN # 1 DAVIDSON at SF/SG and ESPN # 5 Sienna BETTS at PF/C for Stanford's Class of 2025?
Sounds FANTASTIC to me!

I'd love to see the spelling bee champ and dribbling world record holder phenom Zaila Avant-Garde (from Louisiana) be part of the 2025 Stanford class.
This is her in 6th grade 3-4 years ago, but it's hard not to assume she'll be among the elite in her class based on her skills here:

Addison Deal (I think someone said has an offer already?) looks incredible and a Cali kid, then 6'1" Zhen Craft (ranked a spot ahead of Deal on ESPNW) is a high academics kid to keep on eye on too for 2025.

good article, I think it is the 1 BobK found. I asls saw in another article her saying Stanford was her dream school.
I recall a video interview with her saying Stanford in her dream school, I think. Can’t find it at the moment but will see if I can later.

Jasmine Davidson, along with Indya Nivar, Sunaja Agara, target Joyce Edwards and potential target (?) Katie Fiso, was among 11 invited to try out for the USA U18 3x3 team to compete in Hungary late August:
https://www.usab.com/news-events/news/2022/07/3x3-u18-world-cup-trials-rosters.aspx
I'm curious how these invitations work, as Nivar is the oldest at 18 and the only c/o 2022 member invited.
Mikayla Williams is the (lone) returning participant having won gold for the last 3x3. Only 4 are selected for the team.

Do you think there's a chance the Cardinal land her? The two schools she committed to previously were in her home state.

She did visit campus last fall. Who were her other finalists this second time around? LSU, Stanford, Arizona? Whatever school she commits to next will be her third separate commitment to a different school in as many years. Yikes. She is a talent and at one point was ranked as high as #2 by ESPN. She has since dropped and is now ranked overall #23 in the 2023 class.
UConn fan board rumor is that she wants to stay in her home state or close to family and to watch A&M and Arizona as main contenders.

she has said that she would be very interested in stanford if she could get in. i would guess there's some small chance she got some good academic news.

Hannah Hidalgo (#5 ESPN) for 2023 will announce her top 6 finalists on August 1. Hopeful and optimistic we are on her shortlist.
RE: Class of 2023+ -

Several little birdies on the UCONN board say they've heard Wagner wants to stay close to home. But who knows, maybe that was what they heard during her previous recruiting run and a newfound interest and willingness to go out of state is the reason she wants to reassess her options...
Would Hidalgo have likely received an admissions decision by now? Or do some recruits submit their applications later on and it's possible Stanford makes the list but an admissions decision remains to be made? Fingers crossed!

Yes, kind of reminds me of the trajectory we saw with Sam Brunelle in the c/o 2019.

Well, if Stanford is one of them, I hope she does a better job of spell checking on her Stanford application (there, big oops!)

A tweet from Allie Ziebel's team shows a list of schools where offers have come from recently. It shows Stanford second, meaning we offered somebody on the team recently. Ziebel is a ‘24 and the only player that would be of interest on that team. So she maybe should be added to the list if an offer was possibly extended. She’s a sharpshooter who had a breakout summer.
