The offense that we have been waiting for. This team will be hard to beat if they can continue manufacturing runs like they did today.

Fun game today We had great great pitching a Charlton Fisk like HR from Aly and a two run double from Steele
Then the walk off error by Florida. Back at 1 tomorrow

Hopefully, this performance today gives the team confidence for the postseason moving forward. Also, I would much rather have us find our stride in the postseason than a UCLA situation (dominant in the regular season but have seemingly run out of gas in postseason).

I think it might depend on the opponent. If it is UF, I would almost guarantee it would be Vawter (matchup wise that would be a great matchup for Stanford to throw Vawter). If it is LMU or Long Beach, it could be Krause or Canady (Vawter threw against Long Beach last night, so I think a different look would help Stanford).
Also, the priority I imagine will be to win Game #1 tomorrow; as softball fans are seeing tonight with UCLA losing to Liberty, weird things can happen in a win-or-go-home contest.

Yes, the Bruins literally ran out of gas, particularly in their rotation. I want to credit our staff and our players (particularly someone like Ellee Eck) for managing the innings in the rotation and stepping up and providing great performances when players like Caelan and Kyra got hurt respectively (people wondered why we rested Canady for a month, and even reduced Vawter's innings in a couple of Pac series). This is why.
Because 55-56 wins mean relatively nothing if you go out in your regional (particularly going 0-2).

So Sunday's first game for Stanford is 1:00 pm no matter who the opponent. At about 8:15 pm Florida is up 2-0 in the first inning against LMU..

Florida has all but clinched its berth in the regional final. Gators are routing LMU 7-0 in B4. Florida is throwing largely reliever Trilicek as the starter. Setting up another Hightower start for the Gators tomorrow?

Stanford started game with bases loaded and no outs. Only ended up with one run. Vawter pitching. I'm listening on Florida radio broadcast.
After one inning Florida up 2-1. Vawter not looking good in the first inning.

Stanford with a poor defensive play trying to get the lead runner costs them the lead.
Florida leads 2-1 heading to T2. Long contest, Stanford with great at-bats today so far.
They will need to keep pace.

The whole ESPN+ is a pain! I refuse to pay ESPN 10 dollars to watch the game then try and get them to cancel my subscription. Did that once, never again. I would be happy to pay Stanford 10 bucks to stream the game so they would get the money, but not this ESPN+ deal. KZSU works fine.
Love the enthusiasm of the KZSU guys, keep it up!

Stanford with a narrow 3-2 lead in a tight, back and forth affair. The Florida Head Coach got tossed for arguing balls and strikes and then kicking dirt on home plate. A shake of the head at that display of sportsmanship.

I believe the KZSU announcers indicated the coach crossed into the field (to go to the pitcher) without first calling time out. They felt it was intentional.

Stanford has blown open the regional final to take a 7-2 lead. 9 outs to get the Cardinal to
its second consecutive super regional.
