Great on the offer. But not her. Of course maybe I missed her but the team coaches and recruits all sat next section over from me.

That is GREAT to hear Rice is visiting this weekend. We are her third official visit, so two remaining visits if she so chooses after this weekend. Let's seal the deal with her this weekend. I'll try to find out the unknown visitor.

I always wonder if it's good strategy to take them to a football game. The stadium is great, but the empty seats could be a downer for recruits. Oh well. If they went to the volleyball game last night, at least Stanford won. And a decent number of fans show up for those games, tho not as many as one would like. But that does give them a chance to get some of the Maples vibe.

7600 studebts at the last game. Doubt the empty seats elsewhere would bother would be students

I thought that they announced at last week's game that the attendance was the largest ever by students. Of course, they probably have only been able to keep those records up to recently.

I see Bob (?) added Harper Peterson in the 2023 section. She's a 2024, so I moved her there.

* in the new stadium. Important caveat.

Rice doesn't seem to have the personality to have to be near home.
That, and the fact our point guard position is wide open,
and that Stanford represents what it does,
makes our chances very good.
Plus she is visiting a second California school.
Distance probably doesn't bother her.
Add 84 and sunny here,
and overcast and raining her entire week back in DC.
To bet against us, you'd have to be longwinded.

All true and I hope you’re right, but there’s a fairly long history of elite point guard prospects choosing to go elsewhere …

Pohlen posted some pictures of the team at lunch before the game. Still haven't heard any official news on her new role with WBB. Both Betts pictured with Rice. Sure looks like '23 target Ashlynn Shade in another picture who's ranked #5 by ESPN in her class. One other recruit but I can't decipher who exactly.

I would like to think that the fact Rice came in on the same visit as Betts tells me that we think there's a good chance.

At least I'd like to think Betts's enthusiasm may rub off!

And we have Susan Rice in our corner. That's worth something, isn't it....or not.
