let's stop using the jet leg excuse for every sport having struggles on the road. we've heard from the coaches and players downplaying it and this is not new to us anymore. year 2 in the acc. big ten teams travel a lot too and nebraska still looks pretty dang good.

If I may elaborate about jet lag. Stanford looked ragged throughout the entire match. Way too many shots went out. This is not up to their standard even for this season.

I would note that travel and jet lag effect different people differently.
My wife can sleep on a plane (or almost anywhere); I almost never do. So I'll be wiped when we travel (especially flying East). OTOH, she may be fine the first day, then be somewhat out of it on the second or third.
I believe the team traveled yesterday. So maybe some got a good night's rest, and maybe some didn't. A 4pm Pacific Time start isn't that early, so maybe the time zone had little effect and they just had an off day. Or maybe key players are effected; we don't know.
You can't blame everything on jet lag, but you can't just dismiss it either.

Penn State bounced back from being trounced by Nebraska to sweep #7 Wisconsin.
#18 Miami beat #4 Pitt in 5 sets.
Louisville had no problems dispatching Virginia Tech

Unranked Syracuse up 10-7 in first set. 6 point run by Syracuse.
Stanford alternating between unforced mistakes and absolute brilliant play.
Stanford with a slow start now coming on like gangbusters in set one.
Stanford running on cylinders. Nine point run to close out set one. Will it last?

FWIW, the last time I had an ESPN problem, it worked to sign out of my TV provider in the ESPN app and then back in. Actually I signed out of my ESPN account and back in too, first, but that didn't seem to help.

The Cardinal finish off the Orange. Sidney Duncan got a kill. Logan Tusher got in, as well as Malyssa Cawa.
