I think Martinez walked last year, so you never know.

I was bummed to miss the seniors walking in. Took longer to get into a season ticket holder gate than it did to walk there from Lot 13 (other side of Palm Dr). There were a whopping three doors open out of eight possible - some of the other gates had only two doors open. Really no excuse for not having every door possible open when a game is sold out. It wasn't just last night either - it was the same story at Oregon and Big Game.

Rector on his status. Not exactly reassuring.

We'll that's the same status Hogan was last offseason.
I'm optimistic he'll want to put more tape in the hands of the NFL scouts as a #1 WR. Although losing Hogan will probably affect his decision as well.

Ah, but if he does decide to return, perhaps in that regard it will be an indication of his estimation of Chryst or Burns. More will be revealed. :-X

If Rector is done, it will effectively be his retirement from the sport. As of now I don't imagine him having a future in the NFL, and he's not going to find a better situation elsewhere (top receiving target on a potential national title contender). I can't imagine him walking away unless he just doesn't want to play anymore, which of course is his prerogative.
Either way, he's been fun to watch and I wish him the best in whatever he decides.

Rector has had a good season -- 30 receptions, 474 yards, 15.8 yards/catch, 5 TDs. He has developed into a more complete receiver, I think.
But if he wants to play in the NFL, he could benefit from another season here. He might play a bigger role next year due to Cajuste's departure.
Rector's career numbers: 68 receptions, 1,229 yards, 18.1 yards/catch, 10 TDs. His average of 18.1 yards/catch ranks 5th in Stanford history.

Conrad Ukropina
Barry Sanders
Nate Lohn
Jordan Watkins
Chris Harrell
Ukropina and Lloyd today confirmed they are returning.

Noor Davis is the only one on that list that I remember seeing walk.

I hope Davis returns. We certainly need ILB help and a healthy Davis could be a contributor.

He's barely seen the field and would definitely be in line for more of it, so I'd be surprised if he left. Maybe he's tired of injuries and just wants to graduate. Who knows?
