So proud of this team.  I am tearing up watching the final 15 minutes of the game.  So happy for them. 

Coach Gunn deserves a contract extension and a BIG one.

That was a sweet way to salve the Voldemort and WBB wounds.  But more than that, what a fitting culmination for nearly a century of men's soccer.  I hope we can become a dynasty!

Even I, he who hates soccer, got caught up in it!  According to the announcers there were some egregious fouls that should have been called on Clemson but weren't.  Nice to see the subs get in the game and preserve the shut out.  Either the band was there or someone had a loud player :). Glad there was a clock.  What is the deal elsewhere with keeping it secret when the game is over?  Way to go, men!!!

Yes, the tea leaves have been pointing towards him going for some time, and if he was on the fence, winning a chanpionship in dominant fashion might push him.  However, without knowing the entirety of his situation, it's impossible to say anything definitive, and impossible to know if his performance affected his decision at all.

If he does go, though, what a way to go!

Congratulations to Coach Gunn and the whole team!  Fantastic effort today.  Stanford can complete a sweep of men's soccer this season if Jordan Morris is awarded the Hermann Trophy.  Winner to be announced on January 8.
