It wasn't the defense's fault that Stanford's offense racked up at TOP of ~18 min with very few points to show for it.

Exactly. The fact that they only gave up 20 points while being on the field for over 40 mins is great progress from U$C.
Saturday was 100% on the offense.

It would have been nice if they had one more stop in them, and you can't ever give a defense a "pass" because they are tired and the other team is good. That said, it should never have come to that.
