OK, I don't really blame Shaw for the mess, aside from not subbing out the QB when it was obvious Chryst was having a bad night.
Seemed like the team started out flat and then veered into stupid penalties perhaps out of frustration.
I'm guessing they were looking past the game towards WashSt and UW. Certainly most of us fans viewed this game as a gimme.
It reminded me of the old Stanford teams that played to the level of their opponent -- a great win one week and a baffling loss the next.
