Love as a decoy. Might be a good idea.

It’s the “speightscat”. Actually worked.

Even though that drive ended in a punt, at least we completely flipped the field position, after being backed up very deep in our end. Costello had his best run of the season, which is also a positive. Speights continues to be a bright spot amid other struggles in blocking.
2nd and 3rd down due to very good ASU coverage. Give them credit for keeping with our big targets.

Hadn't seen Irwin open underneath, but if so, then that one is on Costello. Though with an average play by DB, I think either 2nd or 3rd down is completed.

Pretty sure Speights had a nice cut block on the Costello scramble.
Looks like the bye week was spent mostly on running plays....and the results are not any better. Time to give up on the run.

Good speed by Adebo there.

Seeing more edge pressure from Anderson. Positive development, until #13 has an absolute terrible play.

Holder was expecting Buncom to cover over the top, and AZST gashes the D for 50 yards !!
Where is BUNCOM?

Holder very lucky to not get beat again for another chunk play. Misfire from Wilkins.

Maybe he was supposed to be passed off to the safety?

Well I'll take the FG there I guess.

I'm worried about whether we'd be able to get more than 3 points. Maybe a 4-3 final?

KZSU, our home brew campus radio station:
"Stanford is just not a fun team to watch... We inevitably open each game with a 3-and-out"
What is our identity? Don't know. 6 of 7 games this season, we trail at the end of Q1."
At end of Q1: Stanford averaging LESS THAN 1 yard per rush. What is our identity, indeed.

Wilkins inaccuracy saves Stanford. Blitzing more than is typical. I'm not opposed to it.
