Great bread crumbs. Here's more that I can't read: her school Archbishop Mitty announced the fall scholarship signings of their student athletes yesterday. She was originally going to announce that day too.
I wonder if she decided to give herself a few more days including a weekend without classes to think and make sure about her decision. She was at Oregon a few days ago last weekend and UConn the weekend before. I'm sure they made very strong and compelling pitches to her. She'd have one year with Ionescu, Hebard, and Sabally.
Her Twitter Likes may be most revealing but it's pins and needles as the country waits until Monday.

For what it is worth, the UConn fans on the Boneyard are generally giving Stanford a slight edge.
I've thought about this quite a bit and reflected on my own teenage daughter who had to make a tough college choice. I'm inclined to agree with Griffins78. Here is what I believe:
Haley probably hasn't made up her mind yet.
She is a very intelligent kid who is weighing all her options. She just got home from visiting Oregon, must have plunged right back into her school schedule, and has hardly had a moment to think. She not only would have had her normal classes which are no doubt challenging at Mitty (especially as she tries to keep up with her school work while traveling almost every weekend across the country,) she had a scrimmage last night and has a game tonight (Menlo.) If I were her parent I would have advised her to put the decision out of her mind for the week, and then sit down and talk it out this weekend once she is done with her immediate school commitments.
Not only would this be the reasonable and responsible thing to do, it also would show respect to Oregon to take more than a single day to think about that program before announcing a decision.
Something tells me that if this is what is happening, it shows a level of responsibility, courtesy, and forethought.
The alternative is to believe that she made up her mind after visiting UConn, that the delay of the announcement to Monday was part of some ESPN plot to create a bigger splash, or a coordination of an announcement with another UConn recruit (Boston--as a couple of Boneyard fans think.) I find those theories not very plausible. They would portray a less mature and thoughtful individual than Haley, by all reports, appears to be.
For these reasons I'm not yet persuaded by any of the tea-leaf reading. The fact that Stanford announced its 3 commits without Haley means nothing. That was probably a firm date set long in advance by Athletics, and Haley just hasn't decided yet. By the same token, the fact that Haley has "liked" the twitter commits of each of those 3 Stanford commits also means nothing. She has met them in various contexts and probably genuinely likes them and genuinely likes Stanford--which doesn't necessarily mean she has made up her mind.
In short, we don't know what she will decide because she hasn't decided. And she's probably trying not to think too much about it until the weekend.
So...Haley should know that if she comes to Stanford the community here will embrace her with open arms. But we also need to keep perspective and realize that this is a deeply personal, life-changing decision that is best made privately, between a teenager and her family.

Announcements of each class is up to the coach. For instance baseball didnt announce for years under Mark
Ionescu has talked about going pro after this season. She will be 23 in the spring

I thought speculating about what is going on is frowned upon on the Cardboard?

Could academic information (admissions reply, or the result of a test score) be the reason for a delay?
For instance, SAT tests taken on Nov 3 have a score release date of this Friday, which would correspond to an commitment on Monday.
If that is the case, we of course wish her the best of luck(skill) to get a high score!
As Bob mentions, she's already been admitted.

Let’s implore her to check the weather before committing. I just arrived in Hartford (biz trip from SFO) where the current temperature is 29 degrees and they expect a few inches of snow tonight. Too bad early signing isn’t in December, allowing for later visits to see what one truly gets!

Of course, she may be looking out at the air quality in the Bay area and thinking it might not be so bad out there.

Call me crazy, but I think a kid who goes to Mitty will know that the air quality isn't always this bad in the Bay Area.

We can dream, can't we?
From the Boneyard at 3pm today:
I'm convinced it's Stanford.
The @StanfordWBB twitter account has 17,000 followers and only follows 185 people, all of which are coaches at Stanford or alumni or active players or verbals. They do not follow any recruits. They followed Haley Jones this week.
Haley AGAIN this morning favorited another tweet by StanfordWBB which was a 4 minute video introducing the freshman at Stanford. This comes after favorite each of the 3 tweets about the signees.
Sure, she favorited tweets about Tennessee/Washington/Oregon State commitments, but those were of people she played with who verballed, etc (take note, none of those schools are under her consideration and not a single tweet favorited that came from any of the other 4 finalists' WBB account in the last few days).

I wonder how those tea leaves would taste when steeped in some nice hot water.

We will know on Monday whether they taste sweet like boba tea or bitter like yerba mate

More tea leaves for the pot. FWIW, the Notre Dame board seems to think that they are out of the running for both Boston and Jones...

My (uneducated) guess is that it is down to Stanford and UConn.

BTW- apropos of Jones being the Gatorade Player from CA, I just realized we've only have one player from California (Carrington) in five recruiting classes. That HAS to be a record low for Stanford women's basketball, right? No matter what happens with Jones, we'll get Jump next year, but I can't ever recall having so few Cali players on the team.

Makes sense. So the coaches will know, but we won't.

Earlier in this thread someone compared the academics at Stanford and UConn, so I thought I'd weigh in. On the drive home today, I learned something interesting while listening to NPR. Apparently UConn is THE place to go for a master's degree in puppet arts. Seriously.

I need to feel better about this. Other than Appel and the Ogwumikes, what top 10 -- or even top 25 -- recruiting battles have we won against the Evil Empire in recent years?
Or maybe more to the point -- other than KLS, what admittees have we lost to them?

Wiggy is one.
Top 25 several.
We won those battles

I'm guessing Cameron Brink (2020 signee). I don't follow closely, but I have a hard time believing that the evil empire didn't want the #2 overall recruit in the country.
