USC now favored by 1.5 points. IIRC, they opened as 3 point favorites.
Geaux Cardinal!

Which Tweets?
If this is one of them, it’s both unsourced and hedged.

I have to get better at Twitter. :) Sounds promising. That said, having the #1 high school recruit waiting on the bench, with 2 years under his belt in the system, sounds a lot better than what $C is looking at this weekend. I hope they keep Helton forever and ever.

I agree, but whichever guy is behind center ought to be watching his blind side, because we've got a true freshman over there. And he's a
pescatarian :

At 291 pounds, Walter Rouse is certainly one of the largest pescatarians I've ever heard of. Let's hope Walter is kind to animals, but an absolute menace to defensive ends and outside linebackers. He seems like a highly accomplished guy, both within and outside of football, and I'm looking forward to rooting for him!

Sand dabs, Rex sole, sturgeon when they have it at Tadich. However there is only one Slav waiter I can speak Serbo-Croatian with. Best martini's in the City.

I dunno, the rock has done pretty well for himself eating crap tons of fish.

That’s 2.5 lbs of cod a day.

After Little went out, I watched the left side closely with trepidation and I thought Rouse played great. I think the recruiting services underrated him because of the pescatarianism and where he played (Sidwell Friends).

Yeah, maybe The Rock is rubbing some flaxseed oil on his muscles, too? I’ve heard that works really well.
Nah, it’s probably just the cod.

The promising side of that observation was that he was facing off against a legit DL for a team that still had a chance to win the game.
The less impressive side is that his stint included a total of five plays.
By the way, you can watch those five plays here:
https://youtu.be/Dafse-m-SgE?t=627
For the first three he dropped back to cut off the edge rush, and was lightly involved.
The final two he got bull-rushed, but managed to drive his man past the play so they didn't make the tackle (where they could have caused a loss).

Anabolic flaxseed oil? Fair point.
