Didn't realize this, but Brandon Wimbush is not playing for UCF. Some guy named Dillon Gabriel is playing QB for them against FAU today. He's 5-17 but for 200 yards, as UCF is rolling to a big win.

His name is Gabriel Davis, and he’s a true freshman. He and wimbush split time in their first game blowout against Florida A&M.

Stanford's next two opponents (UCF and Oregon) lead their opponents (FAU and Nevada) by a combined 98-12.

Supposedly Cal game delayed due to a thunderstorm. It’s calm and clear in the South Bay so seems weird to me!

We will see. Cal has a great defense and a decent running game. Certainly after what we saw today it would be tempting to think we don’t have what it takes. But if we can’t beat Cal, we are probably looking at a 5-7 or 4-8 season.

So, let’s see. You have an offensively challenged team and two minutes left in the game. The kickoff is to the five yard line. And you call the fair catch? I mean, a big return might be a long shot, but if you can get a block, you can leave your team in a good position for the go ahead FG.
When the game is winding down, that’s when it makes sense to take some chances.
