Ok, fair point. Let me see if I can play this game too?

Hey Teejees! Nice to see you making positive comments about the team in this women’s basketball thread! I hope the performance of other Stanford sports teams doesn’t interfere in your ability to identify and contribute to threads that are clearly labeled WBB.

Did I do the whole snark thing properly?

Or I can just point out that it gratuitous potshots on the football team based on straw men arguments about other people’s positions about the coach in a thread about women’s basketball detract from what were otherwise good and relevant observations.

Well, if they decide they are unhappy with football, maybe they might wake up and realize that there are some really good Stanford teams out there to support -- and women's basketball is one of them. Let's encourage these yahoos to come and help us fill more seats in Maples to give this incredible team the support it deserves!

We are blessed to have such a wonderful set of entertaining, champion-caliber teams to watch at Stanford. And, even more, we are fortunate that our student-athletes are such good human beings—unselfish team players, seriously committed to their sport, and open to instruction and improvement. Those qualities in our WBB team, and the fact that they play, for the most part below the rim—as did the teams of my youth, have drawn me to be a season ticket holder. (And I’ll cheer as much as anyone when Fran Belibi, or Prectel for that matter, dunks one this season.)
Let’s do whatever we can to develop a bigger fan base at Maples! The women deserve it, and the fans are likely to be treated to one hell of an exciting season! Let’s not lose sight of what brings us all together!

Agree wholeheartedly and would like to see us grow our fan base for Women’s Volleyball too! We should be packed!

I checked the box score and you are right.  She went 4/4 to close out the game.
