Ryann Nueshul is also not on the Stanford roster. Must also be on the national team hoping to make the Olympics

I was only looking at those on the Senior National WWP team (which, by the way, has two Nueshul's that played at Stanford) at the USA Women's Water Polo site.  That site lists 16 on the roster currently.
Ryann is listed on the Junior National WWP team (with Sarah Klass, who is on Stanford's 2020 roster), but I suspect the listing may be old.

Ryann did play for the US in the FINA Women's Junior championships in September.

Here's a December article about the three Nueshul sisters, but it mentions the interview was earlier in the year.  It mentions a 17-player roster for the US team.

Alas, the 15-member US WWP team traveling to Australia this week does not include Ryann. (A majority (8) of those are current or former Stanford athletes plus 3 USC, 3 UCLA, 1 Princeton).  The US is on a 68-game winning streak, but had to beat the Netherlands with penalty shots 23-22 in December.   (The 3 matches in Australia will be streamed for us night owls.)

FINA rules indicate:
Quote:WP 5.1 Each team shall consist of a maximum of thirteen players: eleven field players and two goalkeepers.

WP 5.1.1 For Olympic Games only: Each team shall consist of a maximum of eleven players: ten field players and one goalkeeper.  One of the reserves may also be used as a substitute goalkeeper

I would take this to mean that Ryann was 17th on the roster and isn't one of the reserves.  
I don't know why Ryann isn't listed with this year's Stanford team.   Perhaps she withdrew from school to try to make the US National Team and now is taking a year's break?

So, it does appear Stanford WWP is down 3 players from last year, while UCLA & USC are down 1 each.

(Why do I feel that BobK knew all this and laid out a series of crumbs which I've only slowly picked up? I think he may be a little embarrassed by how much more he knows than the rest of us.)

With women's water polo hitting #1 this week, they become the eighth Stanford team to be #1 at some point in the season.

Fall Sports

* Women's Volleyball (won NC)
* Men's Water Polo (won NC)
* Women's Soccer (won NC)
* Men's Soccer (lost in NCAA semis)

Winter Sports

* Women's Basketball
* Men's Gymnastics

Spring Sports

* Women's Tennis
* Women's Water Polo

If Lee and Valenzuela had stayed, Stanford would have four players
ranked in the current top 20. (Ye currently ranks 7th and Krauter 18th)
USC and Texas currently have two, and Duke has one.

Those three teams seem alone at the top right now.
Stanford's hope to challenge those three teams may rest
on Mika Liu returning to freshman form, when she made All Pac 12.

This fall, the #1 and #3 players in the 2020 recruiting class.
Sadie Engleman and Rachel Heck, arrive,
and the #1 junior overall, Rose Zhang, joins the team in 2021.
