It would certainly simplify things. However, beating Oregon again would probably overcome a loss to Colorado. One might say fat chance, but with this team, nothing is certain. One could always say winning the PAC-12 Tournament would do so for sure. Once again, improbable. Would two wins in the Tournament overcome a Colorado loss? Same total # of wins as Colorado now and one win the the Tournament. Maybe equal or better best win quality.

We need to win 2 out of our 3 remaining regular Pac12 games. It doesn't matter which two.  If we don't win two, we will need to go deep into Pac12 tourney to have a chance.

If UCLA wins the regular season conference while on an 8 game streak, I don’t see how they don’t get in.

That makes our drubbing of them earlier this season much, much better in the committee's eyes. The P12 tourney will mean a lot.

Referring back to this thread’s title ... The feather drubbing continues but I’m not complaining.

Stanford is now in Lunardi’s Last Four IN.

Here's Lunardi's bracket: Bracket

Does anyone want to remind us about the rules for the teams in the fouer play-in games?
I see Lunardi has Stanford as an 11 seed in a play-in game vs Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, he has UCLA as a 12 seed fully in the round of 64.
Seems an odd combination.
[Maybe he is projecting UCLA as the automatic bid from the Pac 12?]

Shouldn’t winning conference regular season mean something?  Also helps to close well.  Which Stanford has as well going into this weekend.  Two very tough ones coming up.

That has to be it; the last four at large teams and the last four automatic bids have play in games, so for the twelfth seed not to have a play in game, it would have to be an automatic qualifier.

Re: UCLA as a 12 seed. Of course, the automatic qualifier for the Pac 12 is the winner of the tournament in Vegas. I wonder if UCLA is in if they don't win that tournament. It has happened before: in the Lorenzo Romar era, 2011-12, UW was the regular season champ at 14-4 and didn't get into the field.

The team that I watched yesterday at Maples deserves to be in. (Now, if they could only play that way every time!)

The defensive effort and cohesion have always been there. Now we’re starting to see more high percentage shots being created in the half-court offense, too.

Bryce Wills - wow!  He flashed that in a losing effort vs. Arizona, the last game I had attended.  As someone mentioned earlier, when he’s on, we have a lot more balance on offense and enough threats to keep the other team guessing.

Looking forward to seeing how the rest of March plays out!
