Wake Forest vs Duke is off and UNLV vs Colorado State seems to be very iffy.

2 more cancellations from the AAC on Wednesday morning:
Houston at SMU
Navy at USF
Official word from UNLV should come later this morning once their test results are in.
So we’ll either be at 10 or 11 total cancelations depending on those results.
In semi-related news, it appears the PAC-12 is set to reverse course and allow teams to schedule non-conference games. Seems a little late in the game for that change of course but what do I know.

I think we are now up to 12 postponements/cancellations out of 62 scheduled FBS games, although it's possible that affected, healthy teams might create new matchups, like what the Pac-12 did with UCLA/Cal last week.
So far, four ranked teams are affected: #24 Louisiana, #15 Marshall, #12 Miami and #5 Texas A&M; 8 Power 5 teams total. Last week we had 15 out of 59 FBS, 16 out of 65 Power 5, and 6 top-25 teams, so maybe this week won't be quite as bad? On the other hand, it's only Wednesday.

UNLV vs Colorado State is indeed officially off. Kansas vs Texas now off too so I believe that puts the current total at 14. Some talk that Colorado and Colorado State could play on short notice.

Hate to say it, but I agree with you Hulk. I was hoping that the wakeup calls of the last couple of weeks would engender increased vigilance on the part of athletic staffs. Maybe it did, but if the virus is out of control, it looks like there's no way--short of a NBA/NHL-style bubble--to prevent spread.
We are now up to 15 postponements/cancellations out of 63 games involving FBS teams. Five top-25 teams are affected: Texas A&M, Miami, Marshall, Texas, Louisiana (not State). 12 out of 65 power 5 teams. And it's a little after 11 am Pacific time on Thursday.

The numbers are going crazy. I have followed the virus daily for several months.
By my index, a high number of cases for a state in one day was anything over 200.
We are getting several a day that are five times that.
142,000 plus cases and almost 1,500 deaths so far today, and it's only 5 15 Eastern.
I particularly see it wiping out Big Ten games.
Minnesota, relatively benign for months,
has turned horrible, near Wisconsin levels.
One of the Dakotas has the highest rate in the world.
Seems more likely than not that the Midwest teams will shut down some time in the next two weeks.
What a godawful year. . .

Stanford’s game was moved up to 7:30pm already. Maybe they need to move it up another hour.

They can move the game to Woodside High School since San Mateo and SF are not included in the curfew. Too bad Candlestick has been torn down. Could they convert Oracle in time or would Breed nix that?

Fresno State had to cancel on San Jose State, pushing the week's FBS postponed/cancelled total to 16.
