Ziaire is up to 10 assists now...triple double! (or so says my app... Announcers saying 9)
Who else at Stanford has had one? Brevin maybe?

Nicole Powell had several.

HEre's the Ziaire steal and dunk. By the way, he's still at 9 assists. Would be at 10, but Da Silva missed a shot inside.

Ziaire with the triple double!

This was the assist that put the cap on his 12 point, 12 board, 10 assist night.

Almost a quadruple double. He had 7 TOs too. Although I am coming around to the view that some of Williams' TOs are on his teammates who are not used to playing with someone who passes as well as Williams does.

To answer the question, the only other triple double in Stanford MBB history was Brook Lopez versus USC in 2007.
But as I said, on the women's side Nicole Powell has had 6:

Nice ballin' by the Card. ZW is awesome. O'Connell continues to impress with his ball handling and running the offense. He had 11 points, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 0 turnovers. That's two consecutive games he has started at PG and recorded zero turnovers. Impressive.

All five starters double digit points, da Silva (and Williams) had double digit rebounds and Delaire was one rebound away from a double double.

I think they also said 2 blocks and a steal for ZW but I can’t find those stats from my phone.
As BC said, second triple double in program history but hopefully the first of many for him!

Two blocks, two steals, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Game was over at that point. We didn't know that, but it was
Solid victory. No question who the better team was on the floor.

The announcers made a reference to Oscar as a published author. Here's his publication:

A Clearing Technique to Enhance Endogenous Fluorophores in Skin and Soft Tissue
How he has managed to do lab research while also playing basketball is pretty impressive. Good for him.

UW is a bad team but Stanford was missing its starting front court. Nice to see the first-years growing up before our eyes.
Having said that, I'm feeling anxious about the upcoming WSU game.

Fingers still crossed for a co-term masters degree and a return for his extra year of eligibility next year. He and Daejon deserve a real Seniors' Day with fans in the stands at Maples.

Am I the only one who now has Bryce and Daejon as their all-time favorite backcourt? Heart. Warriors. Guts. Intensity. Leadership. Never-quit attitude. Love these guys. I hope they can get healthy and this team has an opportunity to show what we can do when fully healthy.
P.S. Apologies to Hernandez and Lotty, who are a close second, but didn't have the same level of athleticism and defensive ability.

I'd say hard to beat Knight, Lee, Weems. (we ran a 3 guard look in 1997)
Or anybody plus Knight.

The Jacobsen/Barnes backcourt was pretty good in 2001.
Jacobsen 21.9 Pts, 4.5 Reb, 3.5 Ast
Barnes 10.9 Pts, 2.3 Reb, 2.9 Ast

I haven't seen enough of them together to make that kind of judgment. Given injuries I'm not sure I will.
I'll throw another pairing in the mix - Todd Lichti and Terry Taylor

I'm going with Chasson Randle and Anthony Brown. Name another Stanford backcourt where both players went to the NBA.
