I keep going around in circles. Someone in the Pac-12 office doesn't like Stanford WBB. Friday night's game wouldn't work on the app, but could be streamed from their site. Today, nuthin'.

The app seems totally broken: It is only showing the Pac-12+ free streams, not any of the broadcast channels, even if I hit the key icon first to log into my TV provider.
Try the web site? (I haven't; I'm watching on TV.)
Yeah, I was all over the website trying every which way (that's how I was able to watch on Friday). Today they were like, "Who? What? Stanford? Never head of 'em." But looks like someone finally flipped the right switch.

Well, the second quarter went almost as well as the first, and we lead 47-14.
Brink, Jones, and Williams each have 10, and Belibi has 7. Brink has 7 boards, and Jones has 6.
We are shooting 59%, 57% from 3, while holding Utah to under 20%.

I could not get the game on my computer--but it was on the main Pac 12 Network. The "Pac 12 Live" site online is horrific in making it clear what is available, which channel, etc.
Well, the second quarter was only 1 point less good than the first. And it was done with a lot of substitutions. Absolutely fabulous play, crisp passing, defeating the zone. The defense has been suffocating--giving up 7 points each quarter.
Announcer Murphy commented on how Colorado used the zone to fuel its 17-0 run. She said Stanford rarely sees the zone since their three point shooting is so good. Said Tara took the blame--that was on her, since they have not practiced against the zone much.
That said, they have not practiced against ANYTHING much.
So my theory that we were taken by surprise turns out to be correct. (Make enough guesses and one of them turns out to be true!) Our young players were flummoxed by the zone and went scoreless while Colorado mounted their comeback.
Today Utah is using the zone, no doubt having seen Colorado's success and remembering their previous failures. But we are muscling through it and shooting over it.
Now--can we please, please, please have an equally good second half?

Any word on Ashten's status? The announcers noted that everyone "on the roster" had played in the first half, including Agnes and Jana. No mention of Ashten that I heard.

Yeah, I thought so. ESPN is showing Emma-Nnopu as a starter.
We are now up by 42 with all bench players in the game. Sweet.
So our pitiful performance in the 4th Q against CO cost us the #1 NET ranking. So a win is not always just a win.

All of our bigs have 3 fouls with 4:49 to play. We're back to mostly just chucking 3s at the end of the shot clock. Looking more like a strategy by Tara than poor play.
