More FWIW: Shough was the #1 recruit out of Arizona, #140 player nationally and the #7 pro-style QB coming out of high school in 2018, per 247sports. Also, as of 2:30 pm Pacific Time on Friday he is the #1 available pro-style QB--based on high-school ratings, however--in the transfer portal.

Also in the transfer portal at Michigan is DT Ben Van Sumeren.  We have an outstanding offer to his younger brother Alex Van Sumeren who decommitted form Michigan last week.  I don't know if Ben is or should be on the staffs radar.

Ben is a backup ILB (not a DT - that's Alex) who has never been recognized as All-Academic, implying his GPA is below a 3.0. Not happening.
