This game reminded me of the UCLA vs Stanford game where Jayne Appel was ejected from the game. UCLA was playing very physical. She came down with the rebound and two UCLA players were slapping her arms, face and what ever they could slap. She started moving her arms with the ball in her hands and her elbow clipped one of UCLA players. No foul on UCLA but Jayne is ejected for the game. The game last night between UCLA and AZ was so physical I was afraid for the players. I hope this was addressed because it was unacceptable!!!

Up until the tourney, I'd forgotten all about how last season the refs were letting them play ugly basketball all season long. The UCLA v. UA game looked more like a 5 v. 5 UFC match. Undoubtedly, Close will try to go for it since it appears to work for them. On the bright side, I won't be screaming at my television over MacDonald's incessant flopping.

ESPN says the game has been delayed to 5:15.  If the wrestling goes beyond that, they will start the game on ESPN News.

With no fans, there's really not too much reason to start at the scheduled times. So we are left at the mercy of who they schedule before us and how much that can be expected to run over.

I do hate ESPN.  Delaying a league championship for their scheduling convenience, since they did not allow enough time for their events.  They do this constantly, and the Pac 12 usually takes the brunt of it.

I don't understand why it was pushed to ESPN2 in the first place. ESPN just showing some prerecorded thing rather than live sports.
